Valerio de Guevara was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As the son of a prominent attorney in Argentina, he quickly learned to love the law. Soon after graduating from law school, though, he came to the United States to pursue a dream in an entirely different direction. Fascinated by computer technology, he quickly learned to use a Macintosh he bought at a local garage sale.
It did not take long before he was helping friends and family with their computer needs. His unusually good aptitude at learning four spoken languages seemed to spill over into learning computer languages. Sponsored by an American company to develop a simple payroll system, he soon got the experience and knowledge to expand what would soon become a profitable career. The internet explosion catapulted his newly gained knowledge of networking and software development. It was not long before people began referring to him as the "Argentine Guru". Valerio has had an amazing career in software development. He has consulted for some of the giants such as Google, Oracle and Amazon. He owes it all to the gentlemen who saw a piece of old and useless electronic equipment as garbage. His fifty dollar investment led him to fulfill the American Dream.
Nowadays, Valerio considers himself semi-retired. His new focus is his family. He enjoys working on pet projects with two of his sons that are pursuing careers in software engineering. He likes to keep himself occupied by developing websites for well established organizations. Valerio lives in Utah with his wife of twenty five years and his five children.
